ReadTracker: Soon with highlighting and OCR
The Global Android DevCamp we’ve been attending this weekend is coming to an end. But before we go home and get some long overdue sleep let me cover what we’ve been working on: highlighting incl. OCR support for ReadTracker!
Lots of people are currently using our application ReadTracker to share and track books they are reading. The most requested feature by users has been the ability to add highlights from the books so we decided to build that. But at Readmill we really don’t like manual input so we also decided to add support for OCR to make input super easy. Now, all you have to do is hover your phone over the highlight, click post and you are done. Sharing your highlights couldn’t be easier.
A big up to Christof, Christoffer and all the other hackers who spent most of the weekend coding and drinking Club Mate. The new version will be on the Android Market shortly.
