Wrote it, read it, highlighted it!

Posted February 6, 2012

One of the coolest features in Readmill for iPad is the ability to see other people’s highlights in the book you’re reading. It becomes especially interesting when the author of the book dives in and joins the conversation.

Swedish author Jonas Joelson has done just that. He just debuted with his novel Tabula Rasa Hotels, a story about a young man in the Stockholm advertising business, a contemporary “Mad Men”, if you will.

What’s interesting about this book is how many extras are included with the release. There is a companion site filled with sounds, videos, pictures and places mentioned in the book. Jonas also took the time to very throughly annotate the book on Readmill, explaining his thoughts and giving interesting “behind the scene” comments.

If you buy the book and read it with Readmill for iPad, you can read the book with those comments. We think this is an awesome way for authors to use Readmill and give their readers something extra.
