Where to Find the Good Stuff, continued

Posted October 21, 2011

If you’re looking for some DRM-free fiction to enjoy in Readmill this weekend, then look no further.

Feedbooks

Every month, Feedbooks distributes millions of books to an increasingly growing community of readers.”

Paris based Feedbooks has a huge selection of public domain books to browse through. Whether you fancy 'The Art of War’'The Scarlet Letter’ or 'The Kama Sutra', all your classics are there. Download as EPUB to enjoy in Readmill.

Feedbooks also have a good number of DRM-free books in their store, which unfortunately you can’t search for specifically, but rather each book with DRM lists it in it’s Protection status. If there’s no protection status on your book of choice, you’re all good to go!

There’s a fine selection of short story writers publishing their work to Feedbooks. 'Cassingle: Five Stories' by Jim Hanas is one of many collections to look out for.

Cory Doctorow

"Cory Doctorow is a British-Canadian bloggerjournalist, and science fiction author who serves as co-editor of the blog Boing Boing.”

Almost all of Cory Doctorow’s novels & stories are available as free downloads from his site, Craphound.com. Doctorow’s novels include the New York Times Bestseller and multi-award winning 'Little Brother'.

"Doctorow’s novel fizzes with ideas and jumps with breathtaking speed from one technological breakthrough to another until you’re no longer sure what’s based on reality and what’s purely a figment of his inventive mind." Michelle Pauli of The Guardian on 'Makers'.

Enjoy!
